July
20th 2000 saw the release of "Mosaic" the eagerly awaited
second album, from piano accordionist Alan Kelly, on the Tara
Music label. Produced by guitarist Arty McGlynn, "Mosaic"
features many new compositions from both Alan and Arty, as well
as traditional music from Scotland, Finland and of course Ireland.
Alan is joined on the album by some of Ireland's leading
traditional and contemporary musicians including: Arty McGlynn

Also on July 20th, Alan with his Band officially launched
the new album with a concert at the Warwick Hotel, as part of the
Galway Arts Festival. Musicians appearing on the night were, Arty
McGlynn, Rod McVey, James Blennerhasset, Liam Bradley, John Kelly,
Frank Kilkelly, Richie Buckley and Daniel Healy.
